"Good Good Day"

Sou um enorme fã de Nick Cave já há muitos, muitos anos. Sou fã de todas as suas fases, embora com maior tendência para álbuns mais negros e sorumbáticos. Por mais caótica ou delicada que seja a música, por mais causticas ou comoventes que sejam as letras, sempre houve uma beleza latente na sua obra. E de repente há esta música que, em mim, gera um pensamento paradoxal: não entendo como uma música tão fascinante não foi editada em álbum, mas entendo que uma música tão profunda e genuinamente positiva não encaixa propriamente em nenhum álbum do seu fundo de catálogo!
Numa obra já tão extensa, o que não faltam são músicas que ressoam no mais intimo do meu ser e que dificilmete deixarei de regressar a elas com o passar dos anos. Músicas intemporais! Mas esta é provavelmente a única música que conheço de Nick Cave que transborda alegria e quase me obriga a ver o dia de forma mais positiva e de sorriso nos lábios. Uplifting, é a palavra. Não é portuguesa, mas provavelmente a palavra é mesmo essa: uplifting!
